EXPO VILLAGE

COMMISSIONED BY FONDAZIONE COLLEGIO UNIVERSITA' MILANESI

MILAN - EXPO 2015

ITALY

Expo Village is the place that many of the delegates coming from all over the world to work in the pavillons of Expo 2015 call home.

They are about a thousand and arrive from 71 nations. They live in the village for a few days or for all six months of the world's fair, according

to their business needs, and live together as neighbors in a bustle of ethnic groups typical of an Olympic village or of a large university campus.

The village consists of 7 new buildings constructed in front of the Expo site, it's enough to walk across a park and along a catwalk to arrive at the entrance gates. The buildings, tall between ten and fifteen floors, in addition to the apartments also offer areas where delegates can relax and meet

at the end of the working day, every building is in fact equipped with a relax area with ping pong table and sofas . Delegates also have several areas

for laundry, a gym, a place for meditation, a medical center, a bar, a reading area with international magazines and newspapers and an equipped office. The aparts come with free wifi and a cleaning service on demand. It's available also a car sharing with 25 cars Fiat 500, and even a grocery delivery service.

The management of the village, has been entrusted by the Expo Foundation to the Fondazione Collegio Università Milanesi, that manages since many years in Milan a university campus.
